Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi media tanam ampas tahu dengan teknik skarifikasi terhadap perkecambahan biji saga (Adenanthera pavonina), (2)untuk mengetahui konsentrasi mana yang memberikan jumlah dan laju perkecambahan terbaik, (3)untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk bahan ajar yang disusun dari hasil penelitian pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 4 pengulangan.Data dianalisis menggunakan uji anova satu arah (one way). Jumlah rata-rata yang berkecambah pada setiap perlakuan adalah (1)kontrol 0%=8.75(87,5%)., (2)10%=8(80%)., (3)20%=8.75(87,5%)., (4) 30%=9.5(95%., (5)40%=7.25(72,5%)., (6) 50%= 6.25(62,5%). Laju rata-rata yang berkecambah pada perlakuan adalah (1)kontrol 0%=10,20., (2)10%=9,63., (3)20%=10,14., (4)30%=10,4., (5)40%=9,25., (6) 50%=7,65. Hasil uji anova menunjukkan ada perbedaan secara signifikan pada perkecambahan biji saga (Adenanthera pavonina) melalui teknik skarifikasi menggunakan media tanam ampas tahu dalam berbagai konsentrasi. Hasil uji HSD menunjukkan bahwa perkecambahan yang baik terjadi pada perlakuan ampas tahu 30% dengan persentase 95%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini (1)Perkecambahan biji saga dengan teknik skarifikasi berbeda secara signifikan pada berbagai konsentrasi media tanam ampas tahu dengan perkecambahan terbaik pada perlakuan 30%. (2)Perkecambahan biji saga melalui teknik skarifikasi menggunakan media tanam ampas tahu dalam berbagai konsentrasi dapat dijadikan bahan ajar dalam bentuk Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS).

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to determine: (1) the diversity of high-level-plant in Tlontoraja Village, Pamekasan Madura; (2) the form of teaching materials that can be made from the results of studies of high-level-plant diversity in the Village of Tlontoraja, Pamekasan Madura. This research is a descriptive research with survey method. The subjects in this study are the forest of Sumber Mata Air-Dungendak, Tlontoraja, Pamekasan, Madura. While the object of this research is all plants which are in the transects and plots. This research used transect method and sample plot which was divided into 5 blocks and each transect contains 5 plots in 20 x 20 meters. This observation was conducted to identify trees, poles, stakes and seedlings. The results showed that the highest INP with the following details; Seedling is a Pennisetum purpureum species with INP 34.66%; Stake that is a Tectona grandis species with INP 114,36%; Pole that is a species of Schoutenia ovata with INP 78,29% and tree that is species of Lannea coromandelica with INP 163,79%. The conclusions of this study are (1) the index of diversity in the forest belongs to the same category: medium, with the following details: 1.24 trees; Stakes 1.9; Pole 1.8 and seedlings 2.39; (2) The teaching material made from this research result is an encyclopedia of high-level-plants categories.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims: 1). To know the interest of students studying in biology education program of University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya, with the application of role play method (Role Playing) on lecturing biochemistry of protein synthesis material, 2). To know the study resultof students in biology education of University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya with the application of role playing method (Role Playing) on lecture biochemistry of protein synthesis material, 3). To know the response of student of biology education program of University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya with the application of role play method (Role Playing) on lecture biochemistry of protein synthesis material. This study is a Pre-experimental study with One Pretest-Postest group design. The research sample is student in class 2015 periode. Technique of collecting data using observation method, test and questionnaire. Technical analysis of data used descriptive and statistical analysis. The result of the percentage of interest in learning data at the first meeting (before being given role playing method) is 81.66% and the second meeting (after being given role playing method) is 90.45%. The result of statistical test of difference of mean using paired t-test at α = 0,05, note that significance value (p) = 0,00 because p value <0,05. The cognitive learning outcomes of the students after being given the role-playing method were significantly higher than before they were given role playing method with pretest average of 40 and posttest of 78.6. Questionnaire student response included in high category that is equal to 98,43%. The conclusion of this research is the application of role playing method to increase student's interest and learning result.

Abstract

Abstrak: Industri batik dikalangan masyarakat menjadi penunjang dari eksistensi batik, tetapi juga merupakan penghasil limbah cair. Metode yang baik dan menjangkau seluruh lapisan masyarakat yakni metode filtrasi-adsorbsi. Adsorben yang dikembangkan adalah serbuk kayu karena berpotensi menyerap warna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan penambahan berbagai jenis serbuk kayu pada penjernihan limbah cair industri batik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah true eksperiment dengan desain Posttest only control design. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu P1=serbuk kayu randu, P2=serbuk kayu albasia, P3=serbuk kayu jati. Dilaksanakan di laboratorium mikrobiologi UMSurabaya pada Februari-Juli 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan uji organoleptik dan uji pH kemudian diolah menggunakan One Way ANOVA, apabila tidak berdistribusi normal menggunakan Kruskall Wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan penambahan berbagai jenis serbuk kayu pada sifat fisik limbah cair industri batik yaitu pada uji organoleptik tingkat kekeruhan nilai rata-rata setiap perlakuan secara berurutan K=3.38> P3=3.28> P1=3.12> P2=2.20, sedangkan pada organoleptik aroma nilai setiap perlakuan secara berurutan P3=3.45> K=3.31> P1=3.27> P2=2.8. Pada uji pH tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan, namun berdasarkan rata-rata tingkat penurunan pH dapat dilihat dengan urutan P3=7.3> P1=7.6> P2=7.8> K=8. Hasil dari penelitian ini diaplikasikan menjadi bahan pembelajaran bagi masyarakat pengrajin batik berupa buku saku. Kata kunci: limbah; batik; serbuk kayu

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this study is Diabetes Mellitus which is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated levels of glucose in blood plasma. Complications of this disease can spread throughout the body, so the disease is called The Silent Killer. This study aims to analyze the effect of giving the distillation of heart of banana kepok (Moses paradisiacal normalize) to the decreasing of blood glucose level of hyperglycemic mice and its implementation as nutrition counseling to society. This Research Using experimental method with pretest - posttest Control Group Design. The samples were 9 mice for control group, 9 mice for treatment group 25% and 9 mice for treatment group 50%. The data obtained from the research data obtained ρ = 0.00, so ρ <α = 0.05, this means (Ha) received, so there is an effect of giving the banana heart juice to the decrease of blood glucose significantly. From the results of this study can be concluded that there is influence of distillation of banana kepok heart (Moses paradisiacal normalize) indecreasing blood glucose levels of hyperglycemic mice and Implementation as nutrition counseling materials to the community.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine 1) Increasing students' motivation towards the usage of monopoly game with modified media on learning science at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Surabaya, 2) Student learning outcomes on the use of monopoly games with modified media of science learning on students of SD Muhammadiyah 18 Surabaya, 3) Students’ responses on monopoly game methods with modified media. The research type was Pre-experimental with One Pretest-Postest group design. The sample of research was students of class V at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Surabaya in the academic year 2015-2016. Data collection techniques used was observation, test and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used was descriptive quantitative. The data were processed using SPSS version 20 at 0,05 significance. The result of this study obtained from the students' learning outcomes on the use of monopoly game method showed the pre-test average value is 71.67 and the post-test average is 90.42.There is students’ motivation that showed in the group with the success percentage of 82% (very good). The students’ response after learning using monopoly game method is very good with percentage of 97,6%.

Abstract

Abstract : The aims of this research are: (1) To know the effect of variation concentration of Wijayakusuma leaf extract (Epiphyllum anguliger (Lem.) G.Don) on duration of wound healing on white rats (Rattus norvegicus) Sprague dawley strain; (2) To implement the result of research into the leaflet as a medium of public education. Quantitative research type with post-test group control design method. Samples in this study of white rat (Rattus norvegicus) Sprague dawley strain 2-3 months old with weight 150-200 grams of 24 tails. While research data of wound healing include morphology of mice skin during wound healing, duration of wound healing and measuring the length of closed wound. The sampling technique uses the RAL technique (Completely Randomized Design). The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of giving ointment with variation of leaf extract concentration of Wijayakusuma to rat wound length in rat significantly; (2) There is effect of giving ointment with variation of Wijayakusuma leaf extract concentration on the duration of wound healing in rat significantly; (3) There is effect of giving ointment with variation of Wijayakusuma leaf extract concentration on healing wound on rat significantly; (4) The most effective ointment in wound healing is an ointment of Wijayakusuma leaf extract with a concentration of 40% with an average duration of wound healing time for ± 7 days; (5) The form of community educational media made from the research is leaflet about ointment leaf extract of Wijayakusuma.
